The Reverse is a classic misdirection play that can catch the defense off guard if you've been running the ball to one side all drive. The key in this reverse is to sell the fake pass — your QB drops back in the original direction before the ball goes to the receiver coming around. Make sure the WR taking the reverse runs full speed with no hesitation in the backfield. This isn't a classic reverse but it works like one. Save it for when the defense is aggressively chasing the ball carrier.
