The HB Dive is a straight-ahead run play that attacks the defense between the tackles. Your back takes the handoff and hits the gap hard and fast — there is no reading here, just go. Use the HB Dive to keep the defense honest after you have hit some passes. If the defense is crowding the line, this play can break for a big gain when they least expect it.
