Single Back Play 1 is your foundational look from this set. Having one back behind the QB gives you a built-in check-down on every play, which takes pressure off your QB to force throws. Read the outside receiver first, work to the inside route, and dump it to the back as a last resort. This is a great play to run early in the game to establish what the defense is doing.
