Play Notes
The Spread formation distributes receivers evenly across the field, forcing the defense to cover sideline to sideline. Play 3 is your shot play out of the Spread, designed to attack a safety when the corners are in man coverage. Have your QB look at the outside receiver on the safety's side and see if you can win one-on-one on the boundary. If not, come back to the crossing route in the middle of the field.
