Play Notes
The Crossbuck sends two backs crossing in the backfield to create confusion about who ends up with the ball. The defense has to pick one back to follow, and your QB gives it to the one who has a lane. Keep the exchange quick and tight — a sloppy crossbuck loses yards before it even gets started. This play is a great change-up after you've been handing the ball straight ahead, and works especially well if your backs are both fast.
