The I Formation lines up your backs directly behind the quarterback, creating a traditional look that sets up both run and play-action. Play 3 is your play-action shot from this set — sell the dive first, then attack over the top of the defense. The defense will crash down on the run fake and leave a receiver open behind them. This is a great play to call after you have run the ball successfully a couple of times.
