Description

Games never deliver the same throw twice. Catching Lines simulates real variety — high, low, left, right — so receivers develop the full-body catching instincts needed to make adjustments on the fly.

How to run it

  1. 1

Set up two cones 15 yards apart.

  2. 2

QB stands at one cone, line of receivers at the other.

  3. 3

Receivers run toward the QB one at a time.

  4. 4

QB rotates throws: high, low, left side, right side.

  5. 5

Receiver catches in stride and loops back to the line.

  6. 6

Optional: WR begins with a spin move before approaching.

Points to stress

  • Read the ball early — find it before it is on you.
  • Adjust your hands to the throw — do not body-catch.
  • Eyes on the ball all the way into your hands.
  • After a spin: get your eyes back to the QB immediately.
